To accelerate innovation, investment, and sustainable growth in the country’s animal health, fisheries, and livestock sectors, a three-day AHCAB International Exhibition is set to begin at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. Organized under the slogan “Healthy Animals, Prosperous Nation,” the exhibition will be held from January 8 to 10 at ICCB and is being arranged by the Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh (AHCAB). This year marks the sixth edition of the exhibition.
The organizers shared these details at a press conference held yesterday at the Tofazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of the National Press Club. Among those present at the press conference were AHCAB President Sayem Ul Haque, General Secretary Md. Anwar Hossain, Vice President Dr. Sabur, IT and Media Sub-Committee Convener Rashedul Zakir, member Tarikur Rahman, Dr. Rakibul, and others.
The organizers said that representatives from 14 countries are participating in this year’s exhibition. The event will feature 128 foreign stalls and 65 international exhibitors. In addition, leading local companies and institutions will showcase their products and services. Adviser to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Farida Akhter, will inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest.
At the exhibition, modern products, vaccines, medicines, feed solutions, diagnostics, and technologies from top local and international companies will be displayed. Alongside this, discussion sessions will be held with the participation of local and foreign experts on animal health, sustainable development, and global trade. There will also be networking opportunities for farmers, fisheries and livestock experts, agricultural entrepreneurs, and policymakers.
